Meet Andi, Forte, and Custom Canine Design

Forte wouldn't wear his harness. I was finishing veterinary school and training him as my own service dog at the time, and once I looked closely, I realized the design was the problem — not him. I searched the market, found nothing that solved it, and built my own. Forte wore that harness through twelve years of service work; it carried him his whole working life.

I'm an AKC-certified dog trainer, and that background is exactly why the problem stood out to me in the first place — the gear a dog wears affects its body and behavior just as much as training does.

He's retired now — thoroughly spoiled, and he's earned it. Every piece of gear I make still starts from the same question his did: does this actually work for the dog?

Forte was my inspiration for starting this company; now it’s your puppy's turn to be the muse. What better way to repay your dog’s loyalty than to give him the gift of customized comfort?

Every Custom Canine Design order is tailor made to fit your dog’s unique conformation. Rest easy knowing if it’s not safe for your dog, I won’t sell it to you.
