Custom Canine Design was born out of love for Forte, my dog.
Custom Canine Design was born out of love for my wonderful service dog Forte. He takes his job very seriously and performs it with extraordinary focus and poise. He has done more to improve my quality of life than any doctor.
When he began refusing to step into his harness, I immediately knew something was wrong. The combination of poor harness design, and synthetic material was causing musculoskeletal and dermal irritation. I went through countless harnesses trying to find “the one”. Every day he stays by my side and uses his strength to help me walk; the least I can do is put him in ergonomic equipment to ensure his comfort, health, and longevity. I owe him that much at the very least.
Having exhausted all available options on the market, I determined I’d have to make my own - and thus Custom Canine Design was born. After months of designing, building, testing, and redesigning I finally created a harness that works as well for Forte as it does for me.
Forte was my inspiration for starting this company; now it’s your puppy's turn to be the muse. What better way to repay your dog’s loyalty than to give him the gift of customized comfort?
