Custom Canine Design (“we,” “us”) makes custom dog harnesses and gear in Frederick, Maryland. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and store, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Questions? Contact us at andi@customcaninedesign.com or call (240) 474-9169.
Information you give us. When you place an order, book a measurement call, or contact us, we collect what you provide: your name, email, phone number, shipping address, and — for custom orders — your dog's measurements and any notes about the build you're having made.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems. Stripe's handling of your information is described in Stripe's own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically. Our website collects standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to make the site function and to provide basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who need it to run the business — Stripe (payments), our shipping carriers (to deliver your order), and our email/texting platform (to communicate with you) — and only what each needs to do its job. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.
We keep order and measurement records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle any fit adjustments or reorders, and meet legal and tax obligations.
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting andi@customcaninedesign.com. We'll honor requests as required by applicable law, and may need to keep certain records (like invoices) to meet legal obligations.
Our website and store are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version here with a new effective date.
